Hisar: Three agro-processing units were inaugurated this week under the state's industrial incentive policy, marking a major push for value-added farming in the region.
District officials said the plants will procure directly from farmer producer organisations in Fatehabad, Sirsa and Jind, ensuring better price realisation for growers.
The HSIIDC has also promised dedicated power feeders and a testing laboratory to support these units within the next six months.
